Podcast special from Unimy, Unimy and Beyond, and Prepadivser. How and why should you use culture to find your best MBA?
What was most interesting to me was meeting the other people, all of whom are leading in their field and also had a willingness to grow and learn. Added to that was the learning what the most current thinking and best practices are for issues relevant to all businesses – and discovering that what I’d learned in my career so far was not too far wrong!
Studying at Newcastle broadened my mind, made me challenge myself and left me much more confident in my own ability. As a result, I perform better under pressure, understand business more and have the courage to make decisions and influence change.
The diversity of my cohort in terms of region and professional background helped me gain insights and new perspectives. This has helped me approach business problems in a more holistic and innovative way. It has also helped me develop my leadership skills.
The consultancy projects and experiential learning methods were a highlight of the MBA programme. They allowed me to learn from both my professors and my peers.
