Offered part-time in English, the program integrates innovation with action through immersive projects, simulations, and real-world cases.
Experience cutting-edge entrepreneurial ecosystems in Bologna, Munich, and San José, blending in-person learning with online modules. With 10 fundamental courses and 6 immersive courses, the program explores general management and business transformation in depth. Participants will also benefit from two international experiences in collaboration with top universities, expanding their global network and gaining hands-on expertise in global supply chains and business transformation.
Studies
The Executive MBA English Edition is organized into three phases designed to provide advanced managerial skills and strategic insight:
- Business Fundamentals: This phase strengthens core knowledge in areas such as accounting, finance, strategy, marketing, and people management, preparing participants for strategic analysis and decision-making.
- Business Transformation: Focuses on change management, innovation, and digital challenges, equipping participants with advanced strategies for transforming organizations.
- Execution & Value Generation: This final phase emphasizes implementing strategies, managing projects, measuring performance, and driving operational management to generate value.
The program consists of 51 core teaching days, including 26 on-campus and 25 online days, covering 10 fundamental courses on general management, 6 immersive courses focused on innovation, governance, people management, and business transformation, two international experiences at San José State University and Munich Business School, and a final project with presentations and partner company discussions. Additional educational activities such as crash courses, a business challenge, and elective courses further enrich the learning experience.
Courses are delivered in different formats, depending on the subject matter, such as full online (Wednesday evenings), blended (online sessions with on-campus residential sessions on weekends), or fully on-campus.
Before the core courses, two optional pre-courses in accounting and data management are available for those with less economic background, ensuring all participants are equipped with necessary foundational knowledge. The program also includes a 2-day Kick-Off & Business Challenge, where participants collaborate in groups to tackle business themes, with evaluations contributing to their final assessment. Finally, an elective course allows participants to personalize their learning to align with their professional goals.

What people are saying?
N.P., Student
26 years oldStudents have a voice. They're allowed to express their concerns to the managing team and for the most part, they're quite quick in giving meaningful responses.
E.I., Alumni
33 years oldI was part of a class of 54 students from 32 different countries. The university brings over professors from other countries too. Exchanging opinions and sharing our own experiences with each other is fascinating. Besides my master degree education, I learned a lot about other countries, other cultures, and a lot about Italian culture, which I fell in love with. The career building program helped me find a job faster than other business schools I’ve heard of, that don’t even have a career building program. BBS encourages innovation a lot. Students are encouraged to share their experiences from which not only students but also professors learn from. I made friends from all over the world. I never felt discriminated for any reason. Even admissions personnel didn’t treat me as a number but called me by my name, which was not the case in other universities I applied to. If I went back to the past, I’d attend BBS again. It was an amazing experience, that lead me to the nice life I now have.
