The College of Management of NCKU established the AMBA program in 2009 to train management professionals with an international view to fulfill the need of management professional education in Taiwan. The program accepts youth elites with work experience and provides them with comprehensive training. The program began with accepting working students and full-time students, but since 2011 the program now only accepts full-time students with at least a two-year working experience. The program accepts students with different backgrounds and provides students with basic management training. Then students may declare their major according to their interest and vocational plans, and continue their studies in one of the eleven graduate schools in the College. AMBA has a curriculum that combines case study with construction of theoretical models. Our goal is to help graduates return to the work field as “enterprise favorites” and become comprehensive management professionals who are ready to use what they have learned.
